Cancellation policy
Distance selling law (§ 312b BGB, formerly § 1 para. 1 FernAbsG) does not apply in this case. By accepting the cancellation policy, you expressly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal, as my services are provided immediately.
Furthermore, § 312b BGB does not apply if an initial consultation by phone exceeds 10 minutes. From minute 11 onwards, charges will apply. At this point, a consultation service is being provided which you actively use and which can no longer be withdrawn.
“I agree and expressly request that you begin providing the commissioned service before the expiry of the withdrawal period. I am aware that I lose my right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed.”
Cancellation policy for appointments
You may cancel or withdraw from an agreed appointment up to 24 hours in advance.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, a fee equivalent to 2 hours of consultation will be charged, with a minimum of €80.
By accepting the cancellation policy, you explicitly agree to this cancellation fee.
An appointment is considered confirmed once it has been agreed via email or telephone. No separate confirmation will be sent.
Nature of the service
Due to the nature of consultations involving newborns, appointments are often arranged approximately rather than with exact times.
An appointment is considered agreed even if only the day of the consultation has been specified. In this case, the appointment can be cancelled free of charge until 11:59 PM on the day before.
If the appointment is not cancelled, the full fee will be charged.
Each appointment is calculated as a minimum of 2 hours of consultation.
As breastfeeding consultations are not walk-in services, missed appointments cannot be reassigned at short notice. Therefore, the cancellation fee always applies.
