Hello, I'm Diana.
My name is Diana Stabl, mother of two sons (born in 2008 and 2015), and I am a certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). I manage the breastfeeding support services in Waiblingen and Esslingen, am a state-certified nutritionist, a baby massage instructor, a diaper-free coach with the "artgerecht" project, and a Didymos babywearing consultant. I also work at the Ludwigsburg Hospital.
Memberships
I am a member of the German Association of Lactation Consultants IBCLC eV, the International Affiliation of Tongue Tie Professionals (IATP), and doulas in Germany. In my area, I collaborate with a network of specialists, including osteopaths, speech therapists (e.g., Castillo Morales), midwives, lactation consultants, pediatricians, and various surgical practices specializing in oral restrictions.

I support families with far more than just traditional breastfeeding advice! You can contact me with any questions about formula feeding, excessive crying, baby sleep, colic, and many other topics. We'll find pragmatic and practical solutions for your needs.
Individual support
If the consultation extends beyond breastfeeding support, we will work together to create an individualized plan and decide what kind of support from which specialists might be helpful. Thanks to my extensive experience, I can cover a broad spectrum and refer you to specialists if needed. I am happy to accompany you throughout the entire process.

Should I be unable to answer a question immediately or with certainty, I will inform you without delay. You will receive no assumptions or half-truths from me, but rather sound and evidence-based information.

Specialty: Tongue-tie
My specialty is tongue-tie. This year I have dedicated several hundred hours to this topic. I will support your baby throughout the therapy surrounding the frenotomy and provide you with knowledge about wound management and exercises for everyday life.
Special experiences
I have supported several families with babies who have Down syndrome, in some cases enabling exclusive breastfeeding. I also have experience feeding infants with clefts and assisting with surgeries.
Lecturer
I am a freelance lecturer at the Waiblingen Family Education Center and the Jugendhilfe aktiv Foundation in Esslingen.
My commitment
Since 2015, I have worked at the AFS Breastfeeding Café in Waiblingen and since 2017 at the AFS Breastfeeding Support Group in Ludwigsburg. In December 2020, I was elected Chairwoman of the Board of AFS Breastfeeding e.V., Baden-Württemberg Regional Association. I have since left the organization for personal reasons.

Hi Diana,
Thank you for your support. We are very happy with our Beatrice and thank you again for your help and for suggesting we have her tongue-tie checked. She has now summarized:
-less hiccups, less milk spillage while drinking
-more strength when sucking on the bottle and the breast
-stays longer at the breast without falling asleep
-The amount of supplemental milk is halved, the number of breastfeeding sessions is doubled.
-can open her mouth wider, is louder when she cries
-is generally calmer and more balanced than before the procedure and has an even wider grin
-The wound was almost completely healed after 6 days, although it suddenly bled briefly twice again after 3 days.
-We continue to massage the scar approximately 3 times a day.
