Laser treatment for sore nipples

Two devices are available for laser treatment, which you can borrow for home use.

What is laser light?
Laser light is light with special properties. This light, which is very high-energy due to its physical properties, can be visible or invisible. Because of its high energy content and special properties, it achieves very good therapeutic effects in certain diseases.

How does soft laser therapy work?
Low-level laser therapy is a regulatory therapy. Through irradiation, electromagnetic energy is delivered to the treatment site and converted there into biochemical energy. This influences the cellular metabolism of impaired or damaged cells.

Various biochemical processes are activated within the cells, with mitochondria playing a central role in describing the cellular mechanisms of action of laser therapy. This serves to improve the body's defense against the disease and, consequently, to promote faster healing.

LOW-LEVEL LASER THERAPY

The development of laser technology dates back to around 1920 and Albert Einstein. After the first laser was built in 1960, laser technology advanced by leaps and bounds.

The first medical studies on the treatment of poorly healing and chronic wounds were written as early as 1968 by the Hungarian physician E. Mester. Today, the efficacy of low-level laser therapy is very well understood through numerous studies. For many indications, there is scientifically recognized evidence of its effectiveness.
