Family support, infant care, no midwife? - or when nothing else helps
All of a sudden, your whole world is turned upside down.
Overnight, you’ve become parents—and suddenly, everything has changed.
You tried your best, but couldn’t find a midwife?
Your baby is here… but how does this actually work?
The romantic anticipation of your long-awaited baby has given way to a demanding reality.
Maybe you were lucky—you found a midwife. But just as quickly as she arrives, she’s gone again.
Your time on the postnatal ward was confusing, sometimes even worrying.
Emotional pressure like: “Your baby has lost too much weight—you MUST supplement!”
Your baby is unsettled all the time—is it hunger? Or something else entirely?
Your birth was intense, maybe even overwhelming or out of your control—and you feel the need to talk about it?
Suddenly, your friends, parents, and in-laws are all experts on newborns.
And honestly—it’s exhausting. You need support that actually fits your new family.
You don’t feel well as parents—but you’re not even sure why.
Is it a postnatal low?
Have your expectations simply been disappointed?
Was becoming a mother/father even the right decision?
Birth trauma—for you or your baby?
These thoughts happen.
No one should feel ashamed of them.
Every parent has moments like this.
If any of this resonates with you and you’re looking for support that truly fits—you are very welcome to reach out.
We can also arrange sessions before birth to prepare you for life with your baby.
What you can expect is empathetic support as you grow into your new role as a family.
Together, we find solutions that make everyday life easier—for your baby and for you.
I support you with care, sensitivity, honesty, openness, and deep understanding.
We focus on your needs—and find a way to align them with the needs of your baby.
And just to be clear:
You won’t find a magic trick here that makes your baby sleep through the night overnight.
But you will gain something much more valuable: understanding.
Why doesn’t a baby sleep through the night?
Why does my baby only sleep on me and refuses to be put down?
Why does everyone around me seem to know better what my baby needs?
These are the questions I would love to explore together with you.

TELEPHONE CONSULTATION
Telephone breastfeeding advice:
Questions such as those about complementary feeding, nutrition during breastfeeding, or breastfeeding rhythm can usually be discussed sufficiently.
However, if the baby has, for example, sucking problems, telephone advice is insufficient.

PERSONAL HOME VISIT
I would be happy to come and visit you personally to advise you.
Where telephone consultation is sufficient, I offer this; however, I consider video or online consultations insufficient even at this time!

APPOINTMENT WITH ME
Here you'll find comfortable breastfeeding chairs! Changing facilities are of course available, as are play areas for older siblings you might want to bring along for the consultation!
Species-appropriate sleeping and growing up – we usually talk about much broader topics than “just” breastfeeding.
